To ensure the security of the 2026 Evian G7 Summit, the Prefecture of Haute-Savoie will establish several types of security perimeters within the municipalities of Evian, Publier, and Neuvecelle, where traffic and movement restrictions may be applied.
Some of these perimeters will require a digital pass system, issued following registration on this digital platform. The deployment of this system constitutes a processing of personal data.
The processing is implemented by the Prefect of Haute-Savoie, located at: Rue du 30ème Régiment d’Infanterie, 74000 Annecy, France.
The purpose of this processing is to manage access passes for individuals or vehicles to zones where restrictions on freedom of movement and the conduct of specific activities are applied. This is intended to prevent public disorder and ensure the security of the 2026 Evian G7 Summit.
The processing is implemented in compliance with the Decree of May 2, 2011, as amended, relating to the automated processing of personal data known as “security zone resident files” created for major events, pursuant to Article 31 of Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, relating to information technology, files, and liberties. This processing falls under Directive (EU) 2016/680 of April 27, 2016, transposed into Title III of the above-mentioned amended Law No. 78-17.

Personal data is retained for a period of three months following the end of the event, apart from copies of national identity cards, driving licenses, passports, or residence permits, which are retained only until the issuance of the access pass.
Access to this data beyond three days is only permitted within the framework of judicial proceedings.

In accordance with Articles 105 and 106 of the above-mentioned Law of January 6, 1978, the rights of access, rectification, erasure, and restriction of data are exercised directly with the data controller via the following address: pref-g7-instruction@haute-savoie.gouv.fr, attaching a copy of an identity document to the request.
In order to avoid hindering investigations, research, or administrative or judicial procedures, or to protect public security or national security, the mentioned rights may be subject to restrictions in application of 2° and 3° of II and III of Article 107 of the same law.
The person concerned by these restrictions exercises their rights with the National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties (CNIL) under the conditions provided for in Article 108 of the same law.
The right to object provided for in Article 110 of the above-mentioned Law of January 6, 1978, does not apply to this processing.
The processing is implemented by the Prefect of Haute-Savoie.
The Prefecture of Haute-Savoie implements the processing of personal data for the management of user inquiries on the platform.
This processing is based on Article 6(1)(e) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), as it is carried out in the exercise of public authority vested in the Prefecture of Haute-Savoie.
